Nobody wants to drive around with a beat up vehicle after an accident, especially if the safety of the vehicle is in question. That’s why it’s so important to have an auto repair shop you can trust close by. Shops like Kassel Motorsports can repair transmissions, belts, brakes, and more to keep your vehicle running smooth and safe – everything from small replacement parts to complete engine swaps. Whatever your repair needs are big or small, our knowledgeable team is here to help make the process as easy and painless as possible.

The single most important thing to be aware of in any auto repair situation is quality. If quality is not your main priority from the beginning, there is no way you will feel comfortable and satisfied with the end result. At Kassel Motorsports not only do we know what we’re doing under the hood, we buy quality parts that include warrantees. No cheap corner cutting here! We aim to provide the best possible customer service that not only meets, but also exceeds your expectations. Nothing is worse than a shop that uses cheap parts to increase their profit margin.

When it comes to the estimate for your necessary auto repair, it is very common for estimates from different shops to vary in price. You may be given a quote for $500 from one while another is saying $1500 for the same job. Be aware of the differences and when it would be OK to use the cheaper option. Here are some tips that will help you:

1) Ask friends and family for shop recommendations. At Kassel Motorsports we know word of mouth is still the best form of advertising; that’s why referrals and 5-star reviews are our top motivational tools. If you’re new to the area, definitely check out online reviews to see what former customers have had to say. They will typically tell you who you should stay away from.

2) Get a second opinion. Calling a ton of local shops to price-check is not an ideal way to find the best automotive service, but there’s nothing wrong with letting a few different shops diagnose a problem. It may involve paying diagnostic fees, but it’s a smart investment. Check for consistency in what they report as the problem and their proposed solution.

3) Know which questions to ask. “Is a warranty provided?”, “What does the warranty cover?” and so forth. A one-year warranty should be a minimum. You’ll also want to know if the shop has insurance against fire and theft. Find out if new, used, or aftermarket parts will be used.

4) Most importantly is to trust your instincts. If the shop doesn’t appear busy, there may be a reason. If the shop looks dirty or cluttered, it might be a reflection of what type of work you may get done. Are you dealing with a grouch who seems to be bothered by your questions or are you being helped by someone who will gladly answer your concerns?

Choosing the right auto repair shop doesn’t have to be a chore. The right repair shop will give you a sense of comfort, security, and confidence that your vehicle will be well taken care of. Once you are tired of checking out the competition, we’ll be waiting your call and happy to help! Contact Us!
